Importing Translations for Your Etsy Store Listings

IMPORTANT! You cannot import listing translations using the deprecated basic importer. Please utilize an alternative importer for this purpose.

Supported Listing Fields for Translation
Etsy allows translations to be created for the following listing fields:

• Title

• Description

• Tags

Supported Languages
Translations can be created in the following languages:

• German (DE)

• French (FR)

• Spanish (ES)

• Italian (IT)

• Dutch (NL)

• Polish (PL)

• Portuguese (PT)

Getting Started
Before you begin creating translations, ensure that your default language is set to English and enable the required languages via your shop settings:

1. Log in to your Etsy account on etsy.com.

2. Click on Shop Manager in Etsy to access your shop settings.

3. Go to Settings page within Shop Manager.

4. Under the settings, locate and click on Manage Shop Languages.

5. Toggle to enable or disable the required languages for translations.

6. Once you've made your selections, click on Save Changes to update your shop settings.
